Pursuant to Ohio Administrative Code Section 5123:2-2-02, the Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities is required to conduct background investigations for purposes of employment. Please note that per 5123:2-2-02, there are five tiers of disqualifying offenses with corresponding time periods that preclude an applicant from being employed with this agency. Therefore, all applicants under final consideration will be required to submit to background checks through the Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. For more information, please review OAC 5123:2-2-02. Also, due to safety issues within the workplace, prospective employees must also pass a drug test prior to being hired.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

The Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities is searching for a dynamic individual to serve the role of Professional Development Coordinator. This position involves the design and coordination of training for our internal organization (150 employees) and our extended provider network of 165 providers. The successful candidate will have a background in serving people with disabilities and be very comfortable with various presentation methods and tools. We also strongly prefer someone who is comfortable with technology; part of the job will be to finish the development or our on-line training resource (built in moodle).  Posting will expire 12/25/17. SERVICES AND SUPPORTS ASSISTANT

The Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Services and Supports Assistant. Job duties for this position include performing typing/word processing, copying, mailing and other clerical duties for Services and Supports Department. Design and generate computer forms as requested.  Schedule monthly ISC and department meetings and coordinate meeting locations.  Create agendas for meetings.  Send mass emails/communication to the department.  File and organize department information, especially related to orientation, accreditation and other review processes.  A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position. Instructor Assistant Substitute

The Fairfield County Board of DD is currently accepting applications for the Instructor Assistant Substitute position. This is specialized work assisting an instructor in the training of individuals who have developmental disabilities. COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT SPECIALIST-LEARNING NEVER ENDS
