Pursuant to Ohio Administrative Code Section 5123:2-2-02, the Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities is required to conduct background investigations for purposes of employment. Please note that per 5123:2-2-02, there are five tiers of disqualifying offenses with corresponding time periods that preclude an applicant from being employed with this agency. Therefore, all applicants under final consideration will be required to submit to background checks through the Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. EDUCATIONAL AIDE PART TIME

The Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Part Time Educational Aide for the 2018-2019 school year.

This is specialized work with Preschool children with and without developmental disabilities. The chosen candidate will be responsible for continuous and constant monitoring of an assigned student to ensure safety and welfare of student and staff. The candidate will also provide assistance in implementing programs.

As an employee of the Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities, the job incumbent shall comply with all Board policies, and shall demonstrate respect for, support dignity of, and observe the rights of all individuals served by the agency.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position as well as current CPR, First Aide, and an Educational Aide Certificate from Ohio Department of Education. PAYROLL COORDINATOR

The Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Payroll Coordinator. This position is responsible for processing payroll for the agency. The qualified candidate must possess an Associate’s Degree or higher in Accounting or business related field.  Must demonstrate strong skills in organization, time management, handling sensitive and confidential information, and problem-solving skills. Must be proficient in Excel, Word and computerized accounting systems.

As an employee of the Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities, the job incumbent shall comply with all Board policies, and shall demonstrate respect for, support dignity of, and observe the rights of all individuals served by the agency. The hourly rate range for this position is $15.31-$23.27 based upon experience and qualifications and includes full county benefits. Applications must be received by June 20, 2018. OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST PART-TIME

The Fairfield County Board of  Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Part Time Occupational Therapist for the 2018-2019 school year. The chosen candidate will be a Licensed professional who provides occupational therapy to individuals who have a developmental disability. The employee works with considerable independence, receiving general and professional directions from the Director of Educational Services. As an employee of the Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities, the job incumbent shall comply with all Board policies at all times, and shall demonstrate respect for, support the dignity of, and observe the rights of all individuals served by the agency.         

Qualifications for this position include successful completion and graduation from a university program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy of the American Occupational Therapy Association, completion of supervised fieldwork experience required, as well as licensed Occupational Therapist in the State of Ohio.    Applications must be received by June 20, 2018. INSTRUCTOR ASSISTANT SUBSTITUTE

The Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities is seeking  Substitute Instructor Assistants. This is specialized work assisting an instructor in the training of individuals who have developmental disabilities. An employee in this classification will receive direction from an Instructor. Instructor Assistants may be assigned to assist more than one instructor. The hourly pay for this position is $11.00.

INSTRUCTOR SUBSTITUTE

The Fairfield County Board of DD is currently accepting applications for the Instructor Substitute position. This is specialized work in the training of individuals who have developmental disabilities. The hourly pay for this position is $20.00.

As an employee of the Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities, the job incumbent shall comply with all Board policies, and shall demonstrate respect for, support dignity of, and observe the rights of all individuals served by the agency.

NURSE SUBSTITUTE

The Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Intermittent Nurse job duties include: 

Provides general nursing care to enrollees.  Acting on physician's directions, administers prescribed medication; maintains medication accountability records; maintains medication equipment and supplies.  Performs skilled nursing procedures.  Screens for communicable and nuisance diseases.  Provides consultation services with instructors, parents, guardians and/or significant others regarding health and safety-related issues of enrollees.  Assists in the area of personal health related matters (i.e. grooming, hygiene, safety, nutrition).  Assists in the development of policies and procedures related to health and safety issues. The hourly pay for this position is $20.00 and you must be a Registered Nurse to be considered for this position.
