Pursuant to Ohio Administrative Code Section 5123:2-2-02, the Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities is required to conduct background investigations for purposes of employment. Please note that per 5123:2-2-02, there are five tiers of disqualifying offenses with corresponding time periods that preclude an applicant from being employed with this agency. Therefore, all applicants under final consideration will be required to submit to background checks through the Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. EDUCATIONAL AIDE PART TIME
The Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities is looking for a part time Educational Aide. This candidate will be responsible for continuous and constant monitoring of an assigned individual to ensure safety and welfare of individual and others. Provide assistance in implementing programs. Assist in providing structured activities and programs. Collect data on individual programs. Remain familiar with Program Implementation Plan (IEP, IFSP or ILP) and implements all programs for assigned individual. Provides physical assistance to assigned individual in areas of daily functioning including toileting, eating, dressing, mobility and hygiene. Assist in the development and implementation of behavior support including observation, data collection, direct intervention and preparing and maintaining written records. Responsible for loading and unloading assigned individual onto and off of bus. Days of work are Monday through Thursday. Candidate should possess a High school diploma or GED. INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT COORDINATOR
The Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities is looking for a full time Individual Support Coordinator. This candidate will perform individualized service and support administration functions for designated individuals. They will also assist them in identifying choices, preferences and strengths through a self-determination planning process where the individual, family members and/or personal advocate are in charge. This ISC will coordinate individual assessment of strengths, needs, concerns, priorities, hopes and interests for individuals at a transition age . INSTRUCTOR Assistant SUBSTITUTE
The Fairfield County Board of DD is currently accepting applications for the Instructor Substitute position. This is specialized work in the training of individuals who have developmental disabilities. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. For more information please click here.

The Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Intermittent Nurse job duties include:
Provides general nursing care to enrollees. Acting on physician's directions, administers prescribed medication; maintains medication accountability records; maintains medication equipment and supplies. Performs skilled nursing procedures. Screens for communicable and nuisance diseases. Provides consultation services with instructors, parents, guardians and/or significant others regarding health and safety-related issues of enrollees. Assists in the area of personal health related matters (i.e. grooming, hygiene, safety, nutrition). Assists in the development of policies and procedures related to health and safety issues.
You must be a Registered Nurse to be considered for this position.
