The individual/family will choose the providers and will call those they desire to meet for an interview.

What happens next?

All responses go to the SSA/ISC or family, who contacts selected candidates for interviews. Once filled, the RFP is removed and all applicants are notified.

He wants people to talk to him "like normal". He doesn't care what the size of the group is where he is communicating with others, he will keep good eye contact when speaking with someone and he wants to be respected. He doesn't often forget things but may need prompts to complete tasks or extra explanation when someone asks him a difficult question. He also may need reminders at times if he forgets to do something. For people who don't know him, they may find his speech to be difficult to understand at times and should be encouraged to ask that he repeat what he said again.

Most communication is done via text or phone with his mother, who will always have his most current work and personal schedule. This gentleman is able to communicate via writing things down and reading what others have written. He is able to get his point across with showing you or taking you to what he is wanting you to know or see.
