The Family Connection Forum (FCF), provides a forum for the Department of Developmental Disabilities to hear directly from family members and family-serving organizations.
The FCF is guided in collaboration wit a core group of family members and people with disabilities. The Community Core Connection Group work together to plan and lead the Family Connection Forum and Disability Connect.
The core group is made up of 13 members who reflect cultural, racial, and geographic diversity, as well as diversity of disabilities across the lifespan. The purpose is to strengthen family collaboration, offer guidance and input to DODD, and take leadership roles during FCF and Disability Connect meetings.
